Magnified glasses can turn your reading or regular glasses into super magnifying lenses.  The clip on magnified glasses allow for hands-free viewing and magnifying.  When not in use, they conveniently swing out of the way for long distance viewing.

Magnified glasses also come in different variations depending upon the specific need.  Some come with a built-in light.  For those who do close-up work such as a computer technician who does computer repair and must keep hands-free while doing intricate work repairing computer hard drives, this makes his job much easier.  There are those who need to see in dim light such as reading a map in a car, or working on hobbies like stamp or coin collecting where seeing detail might be difficult. 

Other products come with ergonomically made handles for comfort.  Some may have large on/off switches making it easier for the individual to turn the light on or off.  Look for products that have both the ergonomic handle as well as the larger on/off switch.

Before making a decision on what to buy, decide on how you will use the magnified glasses.  Different uses may require different types of vision aids. Look for magnifying glasses that are specially coated to withstand scratches. No matter how much or how little you pay for the glasses, if they scratch easily, they were not worth the money.
